The Rock am Ring and Rock im Park are a pair of much awaited rock music festivals in Germany. Being an annual three day long event, this collaboration of two musical galas result in largest music festivals in Germany and one of the largest in the world. Rock am Ring takes place at the N"rburgring racetrack in the west of Germany, Rock im Park takes place around the Frankenstadion in Nuremberg, in the south of Germany.

Also popular by the names of Rock at the Ring& Rock in the Park, the two grand showcases of rock music are usually regarded as one event. The most notifying feature of these two festivals if the almost identical lineup. In fact, it is a highlight fact that all artists perform one day at Nurburgring and another day in Nuremberg during the am Ring and Rock im Park. However, there have been minor exceptions where an artist has performed at one of the festivals only. With over 150,000 fans, Rock am Ring & Rock im Park festivals features rock music, metal, punk, indie, and also alternative rock, making a huge event for everybody.
