South By Southwest is the largest music festival in U.S.A held every March at Austin, the capital city of Texas. A grand showcase of over 2000 performers playing in more than 90 venues around downtown Austin over four days makes this festival an exclusive event. Tagged as the largest music festivals in the United States, South By Southwest is basically an industrial event. It traces its origin in 1987 as a way to draw attention and garner recognition for local acts, but since then the festival has blossomed into a behemoth, with films and conferences now on the schedule.
