Since its start in the year 2004, St. Nicholas Winterfest has evolved into a four day multi faceted community celebration from being a one day crafts and holiday shopping extravaganza. The festival kicks off with Conway Christmas Cuisine, which is an event providing skills and inflaming palette of over two dozen local area restaurants. Next is the event of "Best Q in Conway" which involves a BBQ cook-off attracting novice as well as the more seasoned. Other attractions of this noble festival includes outdoor arts, crafts, variety, and food vendors. The evening at Winterfest is rocked with live music and dinner. In 2010 edition, the professional football player Roman Gabriel III, will also address the gathering on the positives of life, faith and value of character.
